Elderberry Tea for Sniffles, Congestion, Aches & Pains
Elderberry is a popular herb, found in a large number of over-the-counter cold and cough syrups, is commonly used to fight viral infections, such as the common cold and flu. Instructions

Place the elderberries, ginger, black pepper, and water in a small saucepan. Cover, bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.

Turn off the heat. Add the rosemary and thyme. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. We add the aromatic herbs at the end so that their volatile oils don’t evaporate during the simmering process.

Strain. Add honey (or other sweetener) as desired.

Drink throughout the day.
